And then after you ponder the door for a while longer, the rest of the tower draws you in, and you find yourself looking up and then up again, marvelling at the architecture, the artwork, the enchantingly pink marble, and the whole damn thing, and you can spend an awful lot of time doing this.
You're standing in a perfect environment for considered contemplation of things, and the time spent is well rewarded.
I took too many pictures. But I don't feel like skipping a bunch of 'em, 'cause they're too nice to let go. Bok Tower is covered in world-class Art Deco that can only be described as breathtaking in its beauty, form, proportion, personality, and .... I could go on and on with this, but I think I'll let it go, right here.
Edward Bok is interred at the foot of his beloved tower, in the lawn directly in front of the Great Brass Door
