August 18th, 2007
Well, so much for everybody getting all worked up and flipped out for the massive Dean swell, eh? I never cease to be amazed at the idiocy and hype that comes from certain quarters when there's the merest change in the weather. No wonder all the major news media feed people a constant diet of tripe, pap, and fluff. The doofuses staring into the tv screen like it that way.
Mayhaps we shouldn't oughtta be counting our chickens until we're certain that somebody else hasn't had scrambled eggs for breakfast. Or something like that.
Today is yet another fine day for the young'uns, and the rest of us will just have to content ourselves with that.
Forecast is calling for increasing onshores, with the usual increase in local-fetch grahdoo, so all the slop-hoppers will be glad to hear that.
But whatever else happens, just remember.........it's not September yet.
